Peter has been at the company for 10 years, initially at Current Drugs (joining April 1996) and subsequently at TS following the acquisition in 2002. Having worked in a number of editorial positions he has been an editorial manager for 4 years, where his chief responsibility is to ensure the continued timeliness and quality of the IDdb (Investigational Drugs Database) and SDdb (Strategic Drugs Database), and help co-oordinate the integration of this and other drug content into Thomson Pharma. Peter has a degree in Chemistry and a PhD in synthetic organic chemistry, both from University College London. During his PhD he synthesized novel antagonists of the small-conductance calcium-activated potassium channel.
