In February of 2006, Renny will be celebrating his nine year anniversary at Thomson Scientific. Prior to joining Thomson he held product development, sales, and technical positions with The McGraw-Hill Companies, Xerox, and Motorola.
His current responsibilities focus on Web of Knowledge development. The development team he manages is responsible for Current Awareness (Current Contents, etc.), Community and personalization (WoK personalization, alerting, RSS, etc.), metrics (Journal Citation Reports, Journal Use Reports, etc.), federated searching (Web Services, WoK Metasearch), and usage (WURS, COUNTER compliance, etc.). |
Speaking Engagements
Speaking engagements are with customers and internal staff to discuss development initiatives, product direction, and user requirements. He frequently travels to customer sites to discuss their requirements and present at conferences.
